Data Deletion Instructions
Velox Virtual Garage respects your privacy and provides complete control over your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Through Your Profile (Recommended)
- Log in to your Velox Virtual Garage account
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Click the "Delete Account" button
- Confirm your decision in the confirmation dialog
- Enter your password to verify your identity
- Click "Delete Account" to permanently remove your data
Method 2: Contact Support
If you're unable to access your account, you can request data deletion by contacting us on X at @VeloxGarage on X. Please include your registered email address and account details for verification.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Personal information (name, email, profile picture)
- All vehicle records and maintenance history
- Service records and reminders
- Documents and uploaded files
- Driver information linked to your account
- Achievement and gamification data
- OAuth connection data (Google and Facebook logins)
Processing Time
Immediate deletion: when you delete your account through the profile page, your data is removed immediately. Support requests: manual deletion requests are processed within 48 hours of verification.
Data Retention
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention), but this data will be anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
Third-Party Services
If you signed in using OAuth providers (Google or Facebook), deleting your Velox Virtual Garage account will remove our access to your data from these services. You may need to revoke access separately from your provider's account settings (Google Account Permissions, Facebook Apps & Websites).
